Job Description JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Technician LOCATION: Hawthorne, NY (on-site) TYPE: Full time, regular COMPENSATION: $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr Clarapath is a medical robotics company based in Westchester County, NY. Role Summary: The Manufacturing Technician will play a key role in supporting the production and assembly of our advanced electro-mechanical device, SectionStar™, as part of a close-knit manufacturing team. This hands-on role includes mechanical and electrical assembly, wiring, inspection, testing, and system calibration. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced, quality-driven production environment—preferably within the medical, optical, or automotive industries—and possess a strong understanding of both manufacturing and electrical processes. We are looking for a detail-oriented, team-focused individual who values precision and views medical device development as a competitive advantage. Responsibilities: • Assemble, install, and calibrate electro-mechanical and electrical subsystems, wiring harnesses, and components per technical documentation and specifications, • Interpret and work from wiring diagrams, blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings, • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, • Conduct quality checks and functional tests on components and systems to ensure regulatory and performance compliance, • Identify, analyze, and resolve wiring discrepancies and assembly issues, • Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, wiring configurations, and any modifications, • Support ongoing process improvements and documentation updates, • Ensure safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA) are consistently followed, • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and design teams to drive successful builds and efficient production workflows, • Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and support preventive maintenance activities, • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred, • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing and/or electrical assembly, ideally in medical devices or similar industries, • Proficient in electrical wiring techniques, soldering, and crimping, • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools, • Familiarity with electrical safety codes, ISO 13485, and GMP standards a plus, • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments effectively and safely, • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organizational discipline, • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment This role requires standing for extended periods, working with small components, and operating machinery in a fast-paced production environment. Flexibility to work occasional overtime may be required to meet production demands.
