GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Floating Foundations Engineer will provide support for the development of technical solutions for floating offshore foundations for wind turbines, from design to commissioning and operation, in respect to time, costs, safety, quality and interfaces. Working directly with the head of floating foundations, the engineer will support the definition of technical solutions by management of contracts with external suppliers, performing sizing estimates, preparation of tenders and technology monitoring, among others. This position will focus on the structural arrangements of different floating concepts taking into account weight and load minimization with industrialization in mind. A good understanding of floater modelling techniques from integrated load analysis (ILA) to structure assessment is expected. The engineer will provide support to projects on how to conduct ILA including mooring, by reviewing lessons learned, update employer requirements and perform spot-check analysis. Working from Corporate engineering team, the engineer will be involved with ongoing tender processes at early concept stage, but also providing technical support to pioneering operational floating wind farms from Ocean Winds, supporting the knowledge sharing between OW projects. The Floating Foundations Engineer will also provide support to all interfacing technical packages (Wind Turbines, Transport and Installation, Electrical, O&M, etc.) and key external stakeholders such as the supply chain and regulatory bodies associated with the areas of responsibility. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES • Define, in collaboration with other Technical Areas, floating foundations in early phase projects: type of foundations to be considered, suitability assessment, supply chain assessment, etc;, • Manage/support for the management of floating foundation structural design studies. Desarrollar y consolidar un ecosistema estratégico de partners: ingenierías, instaladores, ESCOs, agregadores, clientes finales y entidades públicas. Representar a ACT en eventos, asociaciones y foros del sector para posicionar a la compañía como referente en el mercado CAE. Traducir la complejidad regulatoria en propuestas comerciales claras, estructuradas y atractivas para el cliente. Colaborar de forma transversal con equipos internos (ventas, legal, operaciones y dirección) para garantizar una ejecución fluida de los proyectos y generar valor a largo plazo. Tu Experiencia: Para tener éxito en este puesto, buscamos candidatos con las siguientes calificaciones y atributos: Al menos 3 años de experiencia en desarrollo de negocio, ventas consultivas o roles comerciales similares. Formación universitaria en Ingeniería (energética, industrial, minas), Administración de Empresas, Economía o similar. Mentalidad emprendedora, con autonomía, iniciativa y fuerte orientación a resultados. Capacidad para desenvolverse en un entorno en construcción, con procesos flexibles y alto ritmo de crecimiento. Capacidad analítica combinada con visión comercial y curiosidad técnica. Comodidad trabajando con marcos regulatorios y habilidad para explicar conceptos complejos de manera clara y orientada al cliente. Disponibilidad para viajar regularmente dentro de España. Dominio profesional de español e inglés. Será un plus si además cuentas con: Experiencia previa en el sector energético, eficiencia energética o servicios energéticos. Tu Rol en Nuestra Historia En esencia, su función implica: Impulsar la creación y expansión del negocio de CAEs de ACT en España, construyendo mercado desde cero. Identificar y desarrollar oportunidades reales de generación de CAEs en sectores industrial y terciario. Construir, gestionar y escalar un pipeline sólido de proyectos de Eficiencia Energética, desde la generación de leads hasta el cierre de acuerdos.
