The firm mainly takes part in: • Business consulting: Quantitative research, Risk management (e.g. Market risk, credit risk, counterparty risk), Banking regulations (e.g. Basel III, Solvency II, FATCA, EMIR, MiFID), Pricing & Valuation, Organisational Transformation & Process Improvement. The Business Development Director (Capital Markets Solutions) will focus on building new strategic client relationships and expanding our footprint across global and regional banking institutions. Operating at the intersection of technology, risk, regulation, and digital transformation, this role drives multi-disciplinary solutions spanning AI, Data, Quantitative Analytics, and Regulatory & Risk practices. The Director acts as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders within capital markets, shaping opportunities that leverage the firm’s global consulting capabilities to deliver measurable impact. Our firm is a global management and technology consultancy with a deep heritage in capital markets, delivering transformation programmes, strategic advisory,and advanced technology solutions to leading investment banks, exchanges, and financial institutions worldwide. • Identify and engage prospective banking clients; conduct detailed research into strategic, commercial, regulatory, and technical drivers, • Identify, qualify, and size complex opportunities across AI, Risk & Regulatory, Digital Transformation, Quant Engineering, and Data & Analytics, • Drive opportunities end-to-end, from lead origination and shaping through proposal, negotiation, to closure, • Ensure lasting client satisfaction and strengthen long-term strategic partnerships, • Develop and execute account development plans aligned to practice priorities and market demand, • Understand clients’ operating models, technology landscapes, and transformation agendas, • Evolve into a subject-matter expert across our consulting offerings, capital markets trends, and emerging industry developments, • Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline management aligned with global governance, • Coordinate cross-practice delivery, technology, and consulting teams across regions, • Generate and manage high-value, multi-year engagements delivering measurable commercial results, • Establish, track, and report KPIs; prepare executive-level account updates covering progress, risk, health, and opportunity pipelines, • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and roundtables; contribute thought leadership and client-facing collateral, • Provide weekly forecasts and activity reportingwith high accuracy, • Support budgeting, planning, and financial management across your account portfolio; drive efficiencies in delivery and operational models, • Manage stakeholder communication across clients and internal leadership, • Support training and adoption initiatives related to our technology, methodologies, and services, • Propose and champion innovative, commercially compelling solution offerings across our practices, • Commit to integrity and exceptional client service, • Deliver consistently high-quality work and outcomes, • Demonstrate a service-driven mindset with a drive to exceed expectations, • Takeownership of performance, commitments, and results, • Work with urgency and adaptability in a dynamic consulting environment, • Treatclients, colleagues, and partners with professionalism and respect, • Collaborate effectively with globally distributed, multi disciplinary teams, • Build and sustain strategic, trust-based relationships with clients and peers, • Embrace diverse perspectives, new ideas, and inclusive teamwork, • Exercise financial discipline in decision-making, • Actproactively to solve problems and deliver results, • Prior experience selling or delivering technology, AI, digital, or data-driven solutions into capital markets or financial services, • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience within consulting, technology, or financial services, • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from origination through contracting and ongoing engagement, • Background in client consulting, solution design, and structured sales methodologies, • Proficiency with Microsoft Officesuite, CRM platforms and reporting, • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills; proven ability to operate under pressure meet deadlines, • Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience, • Strong ability to multitask and manage administrative components of the sales cycle, • Degree in fields such as Finance, Machine Learning, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or related disciplines, • Proficiency in a foreign language, • Robust consulting background with experience shaping and selling multi-disciplinary solutions #J-18808-Ljbffr
