Position: Field Service Technician for air compressors and related industrial equipment. The role involves on-site service, repairs, maintenance, overhaul, and customer engagement to ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction. Required Skills • Proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical control systems, • Experience with rotating equipment, pumps, motors, and gear assemblies, • Hands‑on field experience in mechanical installations and repairs, • Skilled in SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), • Proficient in instrumentation and control systems, • Experience with VSD (Variable Speed Drives) and VFD (Variable Frequency Drives), • Relevant field experience Mission To maximize customer satisfaction through service quality and capability, providing professional field service and consultancy, while promoting service products and ensuring effective operations of air compressors and related equipment. Job Description On‑Site Responsibilities • Inform the person‑in‑charge upon arrival to avoid production interruptions., • Implement correct working methods, use proper tools, and observe all safety rules and regulations., • Collect local purchase parts from suppliers for service jobs., • Carry out daily jobs as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager., • Follow all instructions in the scope of work per service work order., • Test run and monitor serviced units, recording all readings to ensure satisfactory operation., • Write job reports or recommend follow‑up actions as needed., • Explain to the customer any required follow‑up or repair jobs., • Maintain cleanliness at the compressor room and surrounding area before leaving the customer’s premises. Records, Maintenance and Feedback • Provide feedback to Supervisor/Manager on required follow‑up actions., • Give technical and quality feedback to the Technical Specialist based on customer feedback., • Record all time spent in the field, workshop, and other activities., • Timely and accurate feedback on work orders, weekly reports, and monthly reports., • Collaborate closely with Sales Team & Project Team to satisfy customers., • Ensure proper issuance of PPE and maintain vehicle and workshop cleanliness., • Maintain proper use and maintenance of all workshop equipment and measuring tools. Other Responsibilities • Use of MAM (Mobile Asset Management Tool)., • Work closely with Service Planners and Supervisors., • Objective to complete each job with first‑time fix. Experience • Adaptable problem‑solver: flexible to meet customer demands, including occasional evening or weekend work., • Self‑driven entrepreneur: proactive, accountable, taking ownership of customer needs and driving solutions., • Field work experience: ability to work in a workshop repair environment with technical expertise., • Tech whiz: proficient in using technology to drive efficiency and productivity., • Mobile professional: valid driver’s license for travel to customer sites., • Efficient work management and customer relationship management skills., • Coaching and mentoring experience., • Product technical knowledge. Education Requirements • Degree in BSEE/BSME/BSECE is a plus., • Computer proficiency., • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook., • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
