We are looking for cooks (M/F) for our small kitchen from 1 March 2025. We serve healthy food dishes during breakfast, brunch and lunchtime. Most of our dishes are cold dishes, like yoghurts, smoothie bowls, tostadad, egg dishes and salads. Working hours are between 7h30 am and 5 pm, working in shifts with colleagues. We are looking for cooks with at least 1 year experience in breakfast, brunch and lunch and who can speak English without any problems. You have to be flexible available that means also in the weekends. Shifts are 7,5 hours. We are looking for persons who can conform themselves with the real food movement. We offer the salary conform the convento of Malaga based on 37,5 hour contracts.
Blooming Healthy Food Cafe offers a job position as a waiter/waitress and/or Barista/Bar from 30 hours a week to 37,5 hours a week from 1 MARCH 2025. You need to speak at least Spanish and English, both on a high level. We ask that you have a flexible availability, that means that shifts vary weekly and also can be in the weekends. Your responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, upselling, multi-tasking various duties on the terrace, bar and kitchen, collecting the bill. Responsibilities Greet and escort customers to their tables Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies) Prepare tables Inform customers about the day’s specials Offer menu recommendations upon request Up-sell additional products when appropriate Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips or by memorising Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff Prepare and serve food and drink orders Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area Deliver checks and collect bill payments Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties) Follow all relevant health department regulations Provide excellent customer service to guests Cleaning dishes, prepare for the next shift or next day
