We’re looking for a Registered Manager to take ownership of a children's home that aims not only to meet Ofsted standards — but to exceed them consistently, creating a warm, safe, and aspirational space for children and young people. As the Registered Manager, your leadership will be the foundation for a service that delivers Outstanding care, support, and outcomes in line with: • The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, • The Quality Standards, • Safe and nurturing, with clear routines, high aspirations and restorative boundaries, • Therapeutic and trauma-informed, with emotionally attuned care at its core, • Lead and develop a resilient, skilled staff team to deliver high-quality care and relational practice, • Ensure full regulatory compliance, including robust safeguarding, incident management and documentation, • Deliver evidence-based interventions, aligned with children’s care plans and positive behaviour support, • Prepare for and confidently manage Ofsted inspections, audits, and multi-agency collaboration, • Create a culture of learning, reflection and continuous improvement, using supervision, coaching and restorative feedback, • Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy within a children's residential home, • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, • Strong knowledge of Ofsted’s Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF), • Understanding of trauma, attachment and child development, • Proven ability to embed a positive safeguarding culture and proactively manage risk, • Excellent leadership, people management and regulatory reporting skills, • A home that is fully committed to achieving and sustaining Ofsted Outstanding, • A values-led working culture, • Access to trauma-informed and restorative practice training
