HR Advisor South Derbyshire | £33,000 – £37,000 + Benefits Site Based Are you an experienced HR professional who loves variety and enjoys making a real difference day to day? Working as part of a small and supportive HR team, you’ll take ownership of a wide range of generalist HR activities — predominantly employee relations and policy advice to onboarding, recruitment, and continuous improvement projects. The Role • Deliver an efficient and accurate day-to-day HR service, ensuring compliance and best practice across all processes., • Employee Relations - Act as a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, offering clear and practical advice on HR policies and employee relations matters., • Coordinate recruitment activity, from drafting adverts and liaising with candidates to organising interviews and onboarding new starters., • lead on and support meaningful HR projects and process improvements as well as HR projects, and engagement initiatives that enhance the employee experience., • Contribute to the review and development of HR policies and procedures, in particular policy review & updating where required., • Provide data and reporting support, helping to inform people decisions across the business., • Assist with payroll preparation by gathering and verifying relevant information., • Support employee engagement, and community activities that form part of the organisation’s wider purpose. About You We’re looking for someone proactive, organised, and confident working across a range of HR activities. You’ll be comfortable taking initiative, building relationships, and providing practical support to colleagues at all levels. You will possess previous experience in an HR role and/or CIPD qualification (Level 3 or above desirable) and experience managing Employee Relations case work. You are well organised, have a positive, solutions-focused approach and attention to detail.
