About the Internal Sales Assistant role: You’ll be undertaking tasks such as responding to incoming enquiries, responding to customer queries and processing orders. Expect to be on the phone and using the full suite of Microsoft office applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook and Teams. You’ll proactively follow up on outstanding customer enquiries, prepare accurate quotations, and look for opportunities to upsell and add value. We’re looking for someone confident and proactive and who isn’t afraid to get stuck into a range of tasks. You’ll be highly customer service driven and come from an office / administrative or prior internal sales position. Our preference is for someone from a similar sector however are open to candidates from a wide range of backgrounds also. What we’re looking for in our Internal Sales Assistant: Prior internal sales experience or experience within a customer service / administrative environment. Supporting business projects and operational initiatives by providing timely legal input and guidance. Assisting with legal research, regulatory change activities and governance-related projects. Supporting data protection and information governance matters, including data processing agreements and privacy documentation. Assisting with the management of disputes, complaints and external legal advice. Maintaining legal templates, contract records and legal knowledge resources. About The Candidate We're looking for a newly qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or equivalent legal professional who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships and delivering practical advice. You'll bring: A solid foundation in commercial and contract law. Experience of drafting, reviewing or supporting commercial contracts gained through training, qualification or legal practice. Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal audiences. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload effectively. Good commercial awareness and a practical approach to managing legal risk. Confidence building relationships with stakeholders across the business. A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn, develop and seek feedback.Desirable Exposure to financial services, payment services, fintech or other regulated environments. Awareness of UK GDPR, data protection legislation or regulatory frameworks. Experience reviewing technology, supplier, outsourcing or customer contracts.
