Professional Services Project Manager (Not IT) £65K - £75K Manchester (hybrid) Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of complex, high-impact initiatives within a professional services environment. This is a strategic, client-facing role that combines project delivery excellence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive meaningful business outcomes. This is not a Technical or IT based PM position. The role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects-from large-scale transformation and operational improvement programs to time-sensitive, high-stakes client engagements. You will act as a trusted adviser to partners, directors, and clients, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, commercially, and to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities: • Take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, coordinating multiple workstreams, teams, and stakeholders, • Serve as the primary interface with senior clients and internal leadership, providing insight, guidance, and governance, • Define, plan, and monitor project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources, balancing client expectations with business objectives, • Identify risks and opportunities proactively, implementing strategies to mitigate issues and maximise value, • Produce clear, actionable reporting for internal teams and clients, highlighting progress, challenges, and strategic decisions, • Collaborate on commercial aspects of projects, including pricing, resource allocation, and performance tracking, • Extensive experience managing complex, client-focused projects within professional services, insurance, financial services, healthcare or legal industries, • Proven ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders, including clients and leadership teams, • Strong analytical, organisational, and commercial acumen, capable of juggling multiple priorities and deadlines, • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both internal and client-facing interactions, • Project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, MSP, or equivalent) are desirable, • Work on a varied and stimulating portfolio of projects across sectors and business functions, • Operate at a high level of influence, engaging with senior clients and internal leadership regularly, • Competitive salary and bonus structure, • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements Both Modis International Ltd and Modis Europe Ltd are Equal Opportunities Employers.
