WHY you’re here… The core purpose of your job role. Working under the direction of the Senior Account Manager, the Account Manager (Paid) plays a key role in supporting the management of a portfolio of clients, bringing an innovative and strategic approach to their work, to deliver continuous improvement and successful campaigns to their client base. The Account Manager (Paid) is responsible for leading the strategic and tactical implementation of paid media campaigns for clients, ensuring measurable results and ROI. This role acts as the bridge between the agency and the client, managing expectations, performance and relationships while driving continuous improvement in organic visibility, traffic, and conversions. The Account Manager (Paid) must blend technical paid media expertise with exceptional communication and project management skills to ensure client satisfaction and retention. WHAT you’re here to do… The responsibilities, duties & tasks you are expected to deliver when performing your job role. Paid Media Delivery (65%) • Oversee and manage multiple client paid media accounts, ensuring campaign goals, KPIs and deliverables are met., • Understand your client’s agreed Statement of Work and ensure that all services in scope are executed and delivered to the highest quality., • Work alongside colleagues to develop, implement and continuously refine paid media strategies tailored to individual client goals., • Coordinate internal teams to execute against paid media plans efficiently and effectively (across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube and other platforms)., • Lead or support the management of your clients’ Google Shopping campaigns and Google Merchant Centre feeds using tools and software such as Producthero DataFeedWatch, Shoptimised etc., • Ensure the correct management of your clients’ budgets, adhering to internal processes to ensure no over or under-spend on accounts., • Use and monitor House Digital’s internal time tracking software, ensuring that your accounts are being resourced appropriately, without excessive over-burning of hours., • Conduct regular performance reviews and prepare detailed reports (using platforms like GA4, Looker Studio, Supermetrics, and Google Sheets) to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement., • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to proactively adjust strategy and maintain competitive advantage. Client relationships (20%) • Serve as the primary point of contact for paid media clients, building strong, trusted partnerships., • Engage with, and build rapport and relationships with your clients, ensuring their business objectives are supported by the agency., • Present strategic plans, reports, and performance insights in a way that is clear and meaningful to clients of varying technical understanding., • Conduct regular check-ins, status updates and quarterly business reviews to ensure alignment and satisfaction., • Handle client feedback, challenges and objections professionally and promptly, escalating internally when necessary. Business development (5%) • Take an active role in supporting the business to hit and surpass its financial turnover and revenue targets., • Assist with business development by having ideas when it comes to House Digital's product / service offering., • Identify opportunities to grow client accounts through upselling and cross-selling additional paid media or digital marketing services., • Support new business pitches with paid media insights, projections and proposal input., • Contribute to scoping new projects, estimating resource requirements and setting timelines. People & culture (10%) • Uphold the House Digital values: being totally transparent, getting better every day, creating a family unit and prioritising fun., • Mentor and support Paid Executives working on your accounts., • Add to a culture of pro-activity and a feeling that House Digital is a centre of performance marketing excellence., • Help foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the Paid team., • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments (e.g. SEO, Content, Design & Digital PR) to ensure integrated campaigns., • Contribute to internal training sessions and paid media knowledge sharing across the agency., • Ensure that timesheets are completed accurately and on time. In addition, you will be expected to undertake any other task deemed to be reasonable and appropriate to this role, as directed by your line manager. HOW you will deliver in the job role… The knowledge and experience you are expected to apply when performing your job role. • 3+ years’ experience in a paid media or digital marketing role, ideally within an agency setting or in-house role., • Hands-on experience with platforms like Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads., • A good understanding of performance metrics such as CPC, ROAS, CPA, CTR and conversion rate., • Comfortable using GA4, Supermetrics, Looker Studio, or similar tools for performance tracking and reporting., • Proficient in content creation across various Ad and Social platforms., • Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail., • Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to translate insights into meaningful business recommendations., • Strong project management and organisational abilities, capable of juggling multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously., • An analytical mindset - data-driven decision-making and problem-solving approach., • Client-focused, proactive and a results-oriented attitude.
