QHSE Advisor As a QHSE Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting a safe, compliant, and high-performing working environment. You’ll help ensure adherence to all relevant Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety legislation while promoting a positive safety culture across the business. This role is ideal for someone with existing QHSE experience who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and progressive environment. Working closely with factory and farm teams, you will assist in identifying hazards, reducing risks, and improving health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. You’ll act as a strong advocate for HSE and food safety, helping ensure best practices and legal compliance are consistently maintained. Key Responsibilities • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Health & Safety and Environmental systems, processes, and risk assessments, • Help ensure all procedures are followed and continuously improved, • Liaise with external HSE and environmental agencies as required, • Assist with retail audits and Quality Management System (QMS) processes, • Support the development and review of HSE policies and procedures, • Work with senior management to monitor HSE KPIs, • Provide clear and practical HSE guidance to employees across the business, • Assist in producing monthly QHSE reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement, • Deliver H&S inductions and support training activities, • Support the coordination of monthly Safety Committee meetings, • Build effective working relationships with managers and teams, offering guidance and solutions, • Assist in audits, inspections, and accident investigations, • Help produce reports with actionable improvement plans, • Provide guidance on specialist HSE topics (e.g. fire safety, hazardous substances, machinery safety, noise, occupational health), • Support the implementation and auditing of Food Safety QMS Skills & Attributes • Confident and approachable, with the ability to build strong working relationships, • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, • Proactive, organised, and willing to learn Qualifications • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) desirable, • Internal Audit qualification advantageous, • Further training and development opportunities available Experience • Experience in HSE, ideally within a manufacturing environment, • Experience delivering or supporting training, • Knowledge of risk assessments, COSHH, and PUWER, • Competent in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
