Job Title: Demand Planner - Full-time, Permanent. Hybrid Working We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Demand Planner to join our dynamic beauty business. You will play a critical role in forecasting demand, optimising inventory levels, and ensuring product availability to meet customer needs. By leveraging data analysis, market trends, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will drive operational efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction. What you’ll be doing: • Develop, maintain, and update demand forecasts for beauty products based on historical data, market trends, promotions, and new product launches., • Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align forecasts with business objectives., • Monitor sales performance and inventory levels to identify trends, opportunities, and risks., • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure optimal stock levels and minimise shortages or excess inventory., • Analyse the impact of promotions, marketing campaigns, and seasonality on demand fluctuations., • Provide insights on product lifecycle management, including phase-in and phase-out planning., • Use statistical models and demand planning software to enhance forecast accuracy., • Develop reports and dashboards to communicate demand planning insights to stakeholders., • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance demand planning efficiency. Key Skills & Experience: • Proven experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a similar role within the beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG industry., • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, forecasting tools, and ERP systems., • Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and data analysis., • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments., • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment., • Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset., • Familiarity with beauty industry trends, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics is a plus. Education & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field., • Certification in demand planning or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, IBF) is an advantage.
