We’re looking for an energetic and experienced Taproom and Experience Manager to lead our taproom team, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and grow the taproom’s role as a flagship venue for the brand. Role Overview The Taproom and Events Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Brixton Brewery Taproom, ensuring high service standards, a warm community atmosphere, and efficient hospitality operations. This role is perfect for someone who loves people, loves beer, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities Taproom Operations • Lead all daily taproom operations, ensuring smooth service and a welcoming atmosphere., • Maintain taproom cleanliness, organisation, and presentation to brand standards., • Ensure quality of Brixton beers and perfect execution., • Oversee keg and stock management, including ordering, rotation, and accurate inventory., • Ensure compliance with all licensing, health & safety, and food hygiene regulations., • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of bar staff and supervisors., • Create a positive, supportive work environment grounded in Brixton Brewery values., • Lead by example during service, coaching staff to deliver excellent hospitality., • Cultivate a friendly, inclusive, community-focused environment for all guests., • Act as the taproom’s host – interacting with customers, sharing beer knowledge, and elevating the overall experience., • Work with the marketing team to plan, promote, and deliver taproom events, brewery tours, launches, collaborations, and community activities., • Monitor taproom KPIs and deliver monthly reports (sales, footfall, margins, waste, staffing)., • Identify opportunities to grow revenue through improved service, events, retail offerings, or new taproom experiences., • Ensure the taproom acts as a key brand-building platform for Brixton Brewery. Skills & Experience Essential • Previous experience in a managerial hospitality role (bar, taproom, pub, or, • similar)., • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a diverse team., • Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills., • Passion for our brand and craft beer and willingness to continually develop product knowledge., • Experience working in a brewery taproom or craft-beer environment., • Event planning or hosting experience., • Personal Licence Holder (or willingness to obtain).
