ADI Driving Instructor
Reports To: Head of Operations
Contract Type: Self Employed (Part Time or Full Time)
The Role:
RJ Driving School are seeking a patient and enthusiastic ADI Driving Instructor to join our growing business to teach and prepare students for their driving tests and to teach advanced driving courses (Pass Plus) to newly qualified drivers who wish to advance their driving skills.
Responsibilities: - Teach learner drivers the fundamentals of learning to drive (vehicle controls and operations, vehicle checks, road safety, highway code, vehicle checks, parking, road signs, dealing with emergency situations, test preparation). - Teach newly qualified drivers who wish to advance their driving skills advanced driving courses (Pass Plus). - Teach Advanced and Intensive Driving Courses - Plan lessons and self-manage your diary of the day of when students will be taking lessons. - Keeping records of appointments and payments. - Monitor students progress, performance, and attendance. - Keep up to date with the latest driving laws, regulations, theory, hazard, and highway code changes. Skills: - Teaching learners and advanced drivers beginner and advanced driving skills. - Excellent customer service skills (speaking to new and existing students to book lessons). - Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations. - Excellent verbal communication skills. - Ability to work on your own. - Excellent attention to detail. - Ability to act and make decisions quickly. - Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to address challenges that may arise during lessons. - Ability to conduct basic tasks on an electronic device (mobile, laptop or tablet). Requirements: - Must have a full UK Driving License - Proven experience as a driving instructor or seeking to become an instructor. - Clear of criminal convictions and has a clear driving record. - Must have a valid up to date standard DBS. - Ability to work during weekends, or evenings as required. - Reliable, punctual and good time management skills. - Must have Right To Work status - ADI Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 - Must be PDI Trained or a qualified ADI. - Must be within London [North, East, South, West] Benefits: - Free headboard - Unlimited Students - No contract tie ins - Work for a growing buisness - Career growth and Progression - Car Lease options We are hiring for multiple positions for this role in areas within South London, if this role is for you please do apply and submit your CV, we would love to hear from you!
