Are you an experienced Test Manager or Senior QA Lead looking to drive high‑quality software delivery in a fast‑moving IT environment? Join Elysium Healthcare as an IT Test Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all testing activities across a diverse portfolio of IT projects and systems. In this role, you will take ownership of the full test lifecycle—from defining test objectives and success criteria, through to managing test plans, test cases, and the delivery of both manual and automated testing. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how we test, introducing modern automated testing frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress, and embedding them into CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency, speed, and overall product quality. Working closely with developers, analysts, project teams, and key stakeholders, you will oversee defect management, ensuring issues are clearly documented, prioritised, and resolved effectively. You will manage test environments, schedules, and data, and support UAT activities to make sure every release is robust, stable, and ready for implementation. Your insights and reporting will help guide decision‑making, highlighting quality trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. You will also evaluate new testing tools and methodologies, continuously developing our testing capability and ensuring we remain aligned with best practice. Key Accountabilities: • Test Strategy & Framework: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy and framework across all IT initiatives covering manual and automated testing., • Quality Assurance Leadership: Ensure testing standards, processes, and documentation are consistently applied and improved., • Manual Testing Management: Oversee all manual testing activities, ensuring accurate test coverage and defect management., • Automation Implementation: Lead the introduction and ongoing adoption of automated testing tools, frameworks, and practices., • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with project teams to align testing activities with project objectives., • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and report testing risks and issues, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution., • Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation in testing processes, tools, and techniques to improve delivery efficiency and software quality., • Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, processes, and best practices., • Hands-on experience implementing and managing automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)., • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests within them., • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills., • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills Experience:, • Proven experience as a Test Manager or Senior QA Lead in an IT environment., • Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery frameworks., • Ability to lead and motivate a testing team, including mentoring junior testers., • Experience with cloud-based systems and APIs., • (Desirable) ISTQB Test Manager or Advanced Level Certification., • (Desirable) Experience with performance and security testing tools., • (Desirable) Knowledge of DevOps and continuous testing principles., • (Desirable) Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java). Other Requirements:, • Flexibility in working hours and location, as per contract of employment., • Where a current UK driving licence is held, a copy will be required to be submitted, and driving may constitute a part of your role.
