    Role: Customs & Trade Agent Location: Stallingborough Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in Customs Clearance (Preferred) We are a small to medium sized business who are looking to the future & we’re looking for a Customs Clearance Agent to join our team at GB Customs Clearance LTD! About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Customs Clearance Agent to manage and process import and export customs declarations in compliance with UK customs regulations. The successful candidate will have at least one year of hands-on experience (preferred) in customs clearance and a strong understanding of post-Brexit UK customs procedures. The Role is join our small but growing Team at our Stallingborough Branch. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct customs clearance procedures for goods entering the country, including verifying documentation, assessing duties and taxes, and preparing and submitting customs declarations, • Act as a liaison between clients, carriers, and customs authorities to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods, • Review and audit import documentation to ensure compliance with customs regulations and requirements, • Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies with shipments, working closely with relevant parties to find solutions, • Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and procedures, and provide guidance to clients on any necessary adjustments to their processes or documentation, • Collaboration with colleagues and management to continuously improve our customs clearance processes and provide exceptional service to our clients, • Maintain accurate and organized records of all customs clearance transactions and documentation, • Handle any additional tasks or projects as assigned by management related to customs clearance activities, admin etc Qualifications and Skills: • Customs & Trade - 1 year minimum experience (Preferred), • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review and analyse documentation, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, customs authorities, and colleagues, • Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Office, • Ideally previously used programs such as Descartes, Destin8 & CNS, • Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to changes in customs regulations and procedures Benefits: Hybrid working between the office and home (Once training has been completed, Office attendance is mandatory at least 2-3 times per week) Birthday Off as an additional Holiday Supportive team & Management In-house state of the art technology Long-term stability with a growing business Free On-site parking Last but not least..
