Capital Works Delivery Manager Location: Devon Salary: Competitive Length of Contract: 12 months FTC A leading housing provider in the South West is seeking an experienced Capital Works Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale property investment and major works programmes across occupied residential stock. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing multi-million-pound capital works projects, managing contractor performance, ensuring compliance and health & safety standards, and delivering excellent customer outcomes across planned investment programmes. You’ll lead a small delivery team while acting as the client representative across a range of refurbishment, compliance and asset improvement schemes. Key Responsibilities • Lead the delivery of capital investment and major works programmes across residential properties, • Manage contractors, consultants and supply chain partners across multiple projects, • Oversee budgets, forecasting, valuations and financial reporting, • Ensure full compliance with CDM 2015, H&S legislation and building safety requirements, • Line manage and develop a team of operational delivery staff, • Drive contractor performance through KPIs, governance and quality assurance, • Lead resident and stakeholder engagement throughout project delivery, • Produce performance reports for senior leadership and governance teams About You • Strong experience delivering planned works, capital projects or property improvement programmes within housing, property or construction, • Proven contract and contractor management experience, • Excellent understanding of building regulations, CDM and health & safety compliance, • Financially astute with experience managing project budgets and reporting, • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, • Relevant construction or property qualification essential, • Full UK driving licence required Desirable • Social housing experience, • Professional membership or chartered status (RICS/CIOB), • NEBOSH, PRINCE2 or APM qualification Package • Competitive salary, • Excellent pension and benefits package, • Flexible working opportunities, • Opportunity to lead high-profile investment programmes with genuine community impact If you would like to discuss this opportunity or if you have any other recruitment needs, please contact Ellie on (phone number removed)
