Working with the Registered Manager, the Principal Social Worker will develop and manage the service while promoting the ISP therapeutic ethos for employees, Foster Parents and young people to support them to meet their full potential. The Principal Social Worker will provide day-to-day operational support to the Registered Manager, taking a collaborative approach with Foster Parents in order to identify how the Centre teams and other ISP services can best provide appropriate input to the placement, ensuring that there is access to the range of disciplines within ISP. To ensure that the safety and welfare of all young people placed at ISP is promoted and that their best interests are at the centre of our thinking and planning. of care and/or service development opportunities, • Represent ISP Fostering in a business capacity, • Contribute towards the growth and development of the business by implementing key areas identified in the business plan agreed through supervision, • Ensure a team understanding of the different placement packages and identify recharges where appropriate Supervision and Support of Foster Parents • Monitor the suitability and competence of Foster Parents, ensuring they provide a safe, healthy, nurturing and learning environment for children and young people, • Ensure that Foster Parents fully understand the fostering task, competencies to be achieved and the standards expected, including complaints and representations procedures as detailed in the ISP Fostering policies and procedures, • Work in partnership with all professionals to identify any needs within the foster family e.g. respite, activities, therapy, holidays, with all members of the child's network, including contributing to all relevant meetings and any other tasks defined, • Identify the learning and development needs of Foster Parents and recommend action as required, • Attend and/or arrange meetings to support Foster Parents, children and young people, • Take a lead role in the resolution of any disputes arising between Foster Parents and other professionals, • Support Foster Parents in preparing children and young people for independent or semi-independent living Safeguarding Children and Young People • Work in partnership with the placing local authority to ensure that the child and young person's needs as identified in the Care Plan and placement agreement are met, • Ensure that comprehensive case recordings are completed and maintained, • Demonstrate and ensure that the team has a sound knowledge of child safeguarding procedures, • Participate in negotiation between ISP Fostering and local authorities to ensure that each child or young person placed is carefully matched with a Foster Parent capable of meeting their needs, • Ensure all required paperwork and procedures in relation to Critical Incidents and Notifiable Events are completed and shared with relevant parties, • Ensure the necessary risk assessments are completed in line with ISP Fostering policies and procedures, • Ensure compliance with the Social Work England, or equivalent body, requirements necessary to retain job title and registration, • Attend social, educational and leisure activities relating to the support of children, young people and Foster Parents, • In consultation with the Registered Manager, ensure that learning and development needs meet the requirements of professional development, • Provide Out of Hours cover when required and inform Foster Parents how 24-hour emergency support can be obtained Working Relationships • Report to the Registered Manager, • Liaise closely with the Referrals Team, • Work with the Fostering Team and panel members to ensure panel business is in line with best practice and ISP policy, • Meet with commissioning teams to discuss individual packages of care and/or service development opportunities, • Work with directors, managers and the Central Services Team within the Polaris Community, • Work with staff, foster parents and children throughout ISP Fostering and the wider Polaris Community Administration • Take responsibility for administration in relation to the social work tasks to include file administration, typing of all communication, reports and recordings, • Effectively use all available electronic information systems, including timely Job Family Group:Strategic Planning & Business Development GroupJob Description:The Aviation Digital Commercialisation Project Lead sits within the Marketing, Strategy & Sustainability team, specifically under the Digital team but coordinating closely with Marketing, Technical Services, Operations and other functions. The role reports to the Airfield Digital Manager, working closely with bp Technology and related partners.About the roleThe Digital Commercialisation Project Lead is responsible for converting a prioritised two year pipeline of digital commercial opportunities into deployed solutions that deliver customer and business value. Working closely with the Marketing Offer Development team, the role will lead the implementation of Aviation digital products and services, including airfield solutions such as safe2go and Airline Data Services, across selected customers, joint ventures and strategic partners. This is a fixed term contract (2 years). Please note that roles based out of SJS or Sunbury will move to Timber Square, Southwark, from Q4 2027.The position is accountable for delivering near-term commercial opportunities while supporting the development of future digital offerings, strategic partnerships and emerging business models. Success requires deep aviation operational expertise, strong programme and project leadership capabilities, and the ability to build credibility with customers and senior partners in complex global environments.Key accountabilitiesSupport a focused portfolio of strategic digital commercialisation priorities through to 2028.Lead end-to-end commercial deployments of safe2go and Airline Data Services, from pre-sales support and requirements gathering through planning, testing, training, release and early-life support.Maintain effective partner governance, delivery reporting, risk management and change control across multiple regions and organisations.Deliver safe2go demonstrations, respond to customer questions and support pre-signing activity with clear technical and operational input.Scope customer and joint venture requirements, translating them into practical plans and coordinated actions for bp Technology’s product, engineering, operations and delivery partners.Coordinate vehicle hardware procurement and installation support with customer and joint venture operations teams, including readiness for configuration, testing and launch.Coordinate data configuration and integration activities with bp and delivery-partner technical teams, including airline operational interfaces for electronic data services.Plan and deliver operator and local staff training, implementation testing, release coordination and structured early-life support triage.Provide post-deployment care, improve feature adoption and manage the user feedback loop to inform service competitiveness and future product priorities.Capture lessons learned and strengthen repeatable deployment methods, knowledge transfer and succession capability across Aviation.EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, technology, business, aviation operations, project delivery or a related field.Relevant project, change or technical delivery qualifications are advantageous.ExperienceDemonstrable experience leading complex digital or technology-enabled deployments in operational environments, ideally across multiple countries or customer organisations.Solid experience of aviation operations, procedures and controls, with the ability to translate operational needs into safe and practical deployment requirements.Experience deploying safe2go, airfield automation or comparable aviation digital solutions is highly desirable.Demonstrated experience coordinating hardware, data configuration, integration, testing, training, release and early-life support activity.Experience working directly with customers, joint ventures, technology teams, product teams, vendors and senior partners.Evidence of effective delivery under tight timelines, dependencies and changing operational conditions.Experience supporting commercialisation, pre-sales, customer adoption or service transition is advantageous.Skills & competenciesAdvanced technical project management, with a pragmatic and delivery-focused approach.Detailed understanding of aviation operations and the operational implications of digital and vehicle-based solutions.Ability to translate customer demand into clear requirements, delivery plans, decisions and cross-functional actions.Strong partner engagement, influencing and customer-facing communication skills.Good understanding of change management, deployment readiness, training and adoption.Strong risk, issue, dependency and implementation management skills.Ability to work effectively across business, operations, engineering, technology and partner organisations.Sound judgement, attention to detail and a strong commitment to safe, reliable delivery.Ability and willingness to travel internationally in support of deployments.Fluent written and spoken English.Why join us?At bp, we support our people to grow in a diverse and exciting environment.
