Undertake masonry work, including bricklaying to create durable finishes. Collaborate with carpenters and other trades to ensure seamless project execution. Qualifications Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and clients effectively. A valid driving licence is required for site travel. Lay, align, and fix overlapping layers of roofing materials such as slates, tiles, or shingles. Seal the edges of the roof using mortar, ensuring all joints are weatherproof and watertight. Conduct inspections and assessments of roof conditions to determine repair or replacement needs. Remove existing roofing materials and prepare surfaces as necessary. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations while working at height or with hazardous materials. Collaborate with site managers, clients, and team members to deliver high-quality results on time and within scope. Assist with other building finishing tasks where needed, as part of MHA’s wider construction services.
