With inventory significantly increased, we’re ready for a self-led Performance Marketing Lead to scale what’s working and build what’s next. The role We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Lead to own gee’s acquisition and retention engine across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Email/CRM, with TikTok Ads as a growth track. You will set strategy, structure tests, manage daily optimisation, and keep our numbers moving in the right direction: ROAS, CAC, AOV and LTV. You will not write long-form copy. You will direct our copywriter and content team by defining hooks and angles, setting ad caption and subject line strategies, approving what goes live, and briefing what needs to be created next. You will lead the full performance cycle. Fix tracking. Audit accounts and flows. Improve feed health and audiences. Recommend landing pages and CRO. Ensure we show up with impact across paid and email, and that results are clear, reported and actionable each week. What We’re Looking For • Proven success running Meta or Google at scale, • Confident setting acquisition and retention strategy, • Strong grasp of hooks, angles and ad captions that work, • Can spot a winning ad and explains why, • Clear playbook to find winners in our niche and request needed content, • Leads audits and turns insights into action, • Clear communicator: briefs well, gives feedback, owns outcomes, • Collaborative partner to copy, content, dev and design, • Up to date on platform changes, tracking and best practice Key Responsibilities • Own full-funnel campaigns on Google, Meta and, in time, TikTok, • Plan and run structured creative tests that find winners fast, • Write, direct or approve ad captions and subject lines that convert, • Manage daily optimisation to ROAS, CAC, AOV and LTV targets, • Build and improve Klaviyo flows and campaigns with our copywriter, • Audit accounts, feeds, pixels, CAPI and GA4, then prioritise fixes, • Partner on landing pages and CRO to lift CVR and AOV, • Maintain clean naming conventions, dashboards and weekly reporting, • Forecast budgets, scale what works and cut what does not About You • 5+ years in performance marketing for eCommerce, ideally beauty or fashion (If you have slightly less experience but can show strong ability and a clear vision for the role, we’re open to supporting your growth into it), • Winning ad strategies that convert, down to hooks and captions, and able to come in and improve results fast, • Deep in Meta or Google, with strong competence in the other and in email, • Fluent in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4 and Klaviyo, • Portfolio that shows creative examples with clear metrics, • Organised, proactive and comfortable working independently, • Able to explain why a campaign worked and how to improve the next one, • Open to feedback and strong in communication, • Based within 30 minutes of Cheadle Hulme, Greater Manchester What Makes gee Different At gee, we’re building something with real momentum, and everyone in the team plays a vital role in that.
