ElectroMechanical Engineer (Days) Were working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add an experienced ElectroMechanical Engineer to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams. Location: Near St Austell Salary: £40,000 plus overtime Shifts - 42 hours per week average across 3-4 shifts Working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for 4 weeks, then rotating to Thursday, Friday, Saturday for 4 weeks and every other Sunday day shift on rotation 6.00am-18.00pm with a 1 hour paid break The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day running, repairs and maintenance of all production related equipment, including breakdown repairs and continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and general site facility tasks. To be successful, we would like you to have: • Relevant training or have served an apprenticeship, • A recognised industrial Electrical qualification. As well as training and qualification to IEE 18th/19th edition preferred., • Experience working on drives and PCBs.Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM., • Ability to work solo as an Electromechanical Engineer diagnosing, repairing and performing servicing tasks which are both electrical and mechanical., • Competent to operate a /TIG welding skills preferable although not essential., • Have experience working as an Industrial Electrical Mechanical or Multiskilled Engineer (or similar) within Industrial, Manufacturing or Automation., • Any experience in the printing or packaging industry would be beneficial but not essential., • Experience with maintenance programmes within a large scale manufacturing environment., • Have excellent communication, organisational and team work skills, • Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination, • Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential. As you can imagine in such a busy role, we would like you to be able to demonstrate the necessary flexibility, enthusiasm and drive to work within a fast-paced department.
