As a Branch Supervisor based in St. Austell, you’ll be responsible for: Assisting the Branch Manager with the day to day running and operations within the branch and take charge when they are not available Supervise and support colleagues, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to achieve targets and goals Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge Develop the customer base, improve retention, satisfaction, product mix and range Identify and recommend ways to improve profits Building rapport with suppliers General warehouse duties including, goods in & out, picking and packing customer orders (this will involve manual handling heavy stock i.e., toilets, sinks, boilers and radiators) Ensure compliance with policies and procedures Driving 3.5T van making deliveries to customers in the local area Provide cover occasionally at Truro, Redruth and Bodmin This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 07.30am - 5.00pm and Saturday on a rota basis 08.00am - 12.00pm.
