Part Time Recovery Support Worker – Enhanced Community Recovery Service Location: StaffordPart Time – 20 Hours We welcome compassionate, reliable and forward-thinking individuals to join our dedicated team. In this role, you’ll be providing meaningful support to adults living with a diverse range of mental health needs, helping them work toward greater independence. Shift Patterns • Sleep-in shift: 12:00–22:00, sleep 22:00–08:00, then 08:00–12:00, • Early shift: 08:00–15:00, • Late shift: 12:00–19:00, • Competitive rates of pay for sleep-in shifts, • Refer-a-Friend cash incentives, • Free enhanced DBS check, • Supportive and professional team environment, • 28 days annual leave (pro rata), • Access to NEST Pension, • Bike2Work Scheme, • Discounts across major retailers, supermarkets, leisure, travel and events You may already have experience supporting people with mental health needs — if not, we’ll provide full training. What matters most is your willingness to learn, your empathy, and your ability to communicate clearly and confidently. You’ll need: • An understanding of mental health and its impact on daily life, • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, • Confidence working independently and as part of a team, • Good IT skills, including Word, email and basic databases About the Service Our Stafford service supports adults living with a range of mental health conditions, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety and depression. Some individuals may present with self-harm behaviours, substance misuse or verbal aggression. We also support people with forensic backgrounds who may be under Ministry of Justice (MOJ) conditions and working alongside Firs team professionals. It’s a busy and dynamic environment with regular involvement from multi-disciplinary teams, so confidence, resilience and effective communication are key.
