At Parkdean Resorts, we’re on the lookout for a proactive, safety-focused, and energetic Activity & Leisure Manager to lead our swimming pool, leisure facilities, and activities program across the park. If you’re passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a safe, fun, and well-managed environment, this hands-on leadership role is perfect for you! \n\n As our Activity & Leisure Manager, you’ll be at the helm of our day-to-day operations, ensuring that our swimming pool and activities program run smoothly. Your mission? To create memorable and engaging experiences for every guest who visits our pool and activity areas while motivating and developing our leisure and lifeguard team. \n\nWhat You Will Be Doing...\n\n • Delivering a high-quality swimming pool and activities program that offers engaging, fun, and inclusive guest experiences.\n, • Maintaining a safe environment for guests and team members, ensuring the correct use, handling, and storage of equipment, chemicals, and plant rooms.\n, • Overseeing the daily management of all leisure facilities, including the swimming pool and activities program.\n, • Ensuring pool plant, safety systems, and equipment are well-maintained and managed in line with the SPLASH manual and company standards.\n, • Ensuring Lifeguards are fully trained, qualified, and compliant with RLSS and STA requirements.\n, • Carrying out and overseeing water quality and chemical testing in line with operating procedures.\n, • Leading, motivating, and supporting the leisure and lifeguard teams, including conducting regular 1-2-1s.\n, • Contributing as part of the Wider Heads of Department team to deliver park-wide success.\n, • Maintaining a high standard of presentation, cleanliness, and safety across all activity and leisure areas.\n, • Monitoring performance and guest feedback to continuously enhance the activity schedule and participation levels.\n, • Undertaking continuous professional development in key areas such as customer care, pool plant, lifesaving skills, and health & safety.\n\n\nAbout You...\n\n, • A valid NPLQ Lifeguard qualification, or a strong swimmer willing to complete the qualification.\n, • Experience managing, coaching, and developing a team in a leisure or customer-focused environment.\n, • Excellent relationship-building skills and confidence working with internal teams and external guests.\n, • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to maximize participation and satisfaction.\n, • NPLQ Trainer Assessor qualification (desirable).\n, • Pool Plant Operations qualification (desirable).\n, • A valid First Aid at Work certificate.\n, • Flexibility to work varied days including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.\n, • The opportunity to develop your skills and boost your career across our 65 parks – we’ve got your back when it comes to training!\n, • You’re never on your own with our Employee Assistance Programme, featuring a 24/7 confidential helpline for counselling and support – because your wellbeing is our top priority.\n, • A 50% discount for you and a 25% discount for friends and family when booking your holiday with us.\n, • A team member discount of 30% on everything from fabulous food to delicious drinks and even our fun leisure activities.\n
