The Role We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Mobile Installation Engineer to join our team, covering London and the surrounding areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the professional installation of a wide range of aftermarket multimedia and electronic systems in client vehicles. This role requires a high degree of technical expertise, precision, and a passion for automotive technology. Key Responsibilities • Expert Installation: Professionally install our full range of products, including Android Screens, CarPlay Boxes, dashcams, reverse cameras, ambient lighting, and audio systems., • Client Collaboration: Liaise directly with clients to understand their needs, provide expert recommendations on upgrades, and ensure a high-quality service from start to finish., • Technical Problem-Solving: Independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during installation, ensuring all systems function perfectly., • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks and testing on all installations to guarantee they meet industry safety standards and our company's high-quality guidelines., • Customer Education & Support: Clearly explain the functionality of newly installed systems to clients and provide aftercare support and guidance when needed., • Must have a Full UK Driving Licence and Own Car, • Proven experience in automotive installation, repair, or a related technical field is essential., • Strong technical skills and proficiency with various installation tools and equipment., • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities., • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality work., • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach., • Ability to work independently, manage your schedule effectively, and handle the demands of frequent travel., • Competitive Pay & Bonuses: In addition to your rate, you will be eligible for a bonus scheme, commission, and tips., • Flexibility: While this is a full-time role, we support a flexible working schedule (Flexitime)., • Employee Perks: Enjoy employee discounts on our products, access to company events, and store discounts., • Supportive Team: You'll be a key part of a collaborative and friendly nationwide team dedicated to being the best in the industry. Key Responsibilities: Spot Opportunities: Identify areas for enhancement in existing low-code applications and help build compelling business cases for change. (10% of your time) Manage Development: Collaborate with fellow developers and business analysts to effectively review requirements, break down tasks, and design low-level technical solutions. Execute initial tests and ensure the quality of code aligns with best practices. (65% of your time) Troubleshoot Issues: Solve challenges by debugging application code and providing ongoing operational support, including upgrades and maintenance. (5% of your time) Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience. Experience: Proficient in full-stack development languages such as HTML, CSS, SQL, and JavaScript. Familiarity with Outsystems and/or Python is a plus! Skills: • Strong analytic skills to simplify complex problems for both technical and non-technical audiences., • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities using MS Visio and MS PowerPoint., • Good interpersonal skills with the knack for presenting ideas in a user-friendly manner.
