A well-established multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy is currently looking for an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their Winchester team. This is an excellent opportunity for a client-facing professional to take the lead on a broad range of projects across sectors including education, defence, commercial, healthcare, and science & technology. The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of key client relationships, lead the delivery of high-profile projects, and support the development of junior surveyors. This role is ideal for a commercially minded Associate Quantity Surveyor who thrives in a fast-paced consultancy environment and is looking to step into a strategic position within a respected business. As an Associate Quantity Surveyor, you'll also play a role in developing new business opportunities and strengthening the consultancy's presence in the region. This is a long-term opportunity for an ambitious Associate Quantity Surveyor with the leadership skills to contribute to both project and business success. Associate Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities • Lead the delivery of cost consultancy services across multiple sectors, • Manage pre- and post-contract duties, including cost planning, procurement, and contract administration, • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and project stakeholders, • Oversee junior surveyors and support APC progression, • Prepare and present financial reports, risk reviews, and final accounts, • MRICS qualified with strong consultancy experience, • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage teams and complex projects, • Excellent communication and client relationship management, • Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts, • Experience across a range of sectors, including public and private, • Competitive salary between £60,000 - £70,000, • Defined progression route to Partner level, • Flexible hybrid working and a collaborative office environment, • Broad project portfolio across key sectors, • Ongoing CPD and professional development support If you are a Quantity Surveyor considering your career opportunities, then please contact Dan McEvoy at Brandon James.
