The Role We're looking for experienced Vehicle Technicians or mechanically skilled individuals to join our close-knit manufacturing team. You’ll play a key role in building our cutting-edge amphibious vehicles across both structural and mechanical phases. We also have other mechanical roles available. Responsibilities • Assemble vehicle, drive train mounting, suspension systems, and electrical components, • Support the integration of automotive parts into bespoke amphibious platforms, • Collaborate with marine and automotive engineers to refine the build procedures, • Inspect parts and flag defects or quality issues to the shop foreman, • Contribute to continuous improvement of build processes, • Assist with prototype testing and vehicle trials (some travel or overtime may be required), • Accurately log build data, including torque settings, serial numbers, and part tracking, • Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety compliance, and hazard reporting Qualifications • Proven experience as a mechanic, • Strong understanding of installation of components, • Relevant technical certification, • High mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail, • Ability to work independently and within a team, • Welding, fabrication, or machining skills (advantageous but not essential), • Ability to read engineering drawings (preferred), • Experience in low-volume vehicle production (preferred), • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, • Full UK driver’s licence
