Collaborating closely with senior leaders, trade unions, and external auditors, you’ll align systems and processes with corporate objectives, fostering collaboration and ensuring compliance. \n \n Core Responsibilities\n \n • \nLead and develop a team of SHE professionals, including auditors and management systems specialists.\n, • \nPlan and oversee audit programs, ensuring effective risk identification and closure of non-conformances (NCRs).\n, • \nUtilize data insights to drive performance, identify trends, and share learnings from incidents.\n, • \nCoordinate integrated business planning, aligning SME input with SHE strategy and organizational objectives.\n, • \nManage governance forums and reporting, ensuring alignment with the AIR governance framework.\n, • \nAct as the central point of contact for SHE governance, supporting acquisitions and overseeing systems and processes.\n, • \nRepresent the SHE Function in various working groups to ensure compliance with BAE Systems policies.\n \n \n Essential Skills\n \n, • Strong understanding of management systems, including Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality frameworks.\n, • Proven knowledge of audit processes and management practices.\n, • Experience in leading and developing teams within a governance or operational environment.\n, • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, engaging effectively across all business levels.\n #LI-SC1 \n #LI-Hybrid \n
