We are the multi‑skilled hands‑on practical support that helps our colleagues deliver services to our customers. We work with customers who have low to medium housing needs, across a mix of properties and grounds. As our handy person, you’ll spend much of your time working across different properties. • Perform minor or emergency repairs, decorating and cleaning in properties and communal areas., • Handle tasks like hanging curtain poles, moving furniture, touching up paint, changing washers, unblocking sinks, mowing lawns and clearing grounds., • Carry out regular fire safety checks., • Work with colleagues, contractors and customers., • A team player with a can‑do attitude and enthusiasm., • General maintenance know‑how, a bit of carpentry, basic plumbing and confidence with a paintbrush or broom., • Comfortable working and communicating with people from all walks of life., • Ability to use technology for submitting receipts and keeping a record of jobs completed., • We mainly work Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, but we’re flexible as long as we meet our customer’s needs., • You’ll be based at Greenwood Road and travel around the properties in our Hartlepool area., • Occasionally you’ll head outside the patch for all hands‑on‑deck situations., • You’ll need a Standard DBS check; we pay for it., • 34 days leave, (including bank holidays and a “me day”)., • Matching Pension contributions (up to 7%, with life assurance of 3x Basic Salary)., • Save up to £1140 yearly with our health cash plan, covering dental, optical, and therapies., • Instant pay access with Stream. #J-18808-Ljbffr
