    Senior Sous Chef – AngloThai - Marylebone £50,000 to £55,000 (dependent on experience) Location: 22-24 Seymour Place, W1H 7NL · Full-time, site-based AngloThai is a Michelin-starred, Thai-inspired restaurant on Seymour Place in London, the debut permanent home of husband-and-wife team John and Desiree Chantarasak. John's cooking reimagines Thai flavours through hyper-seasonal British produce, served across a 50-cover dining room and Baan, our 16-cover private dining room, with a wine programme led by Desiree. As the restaurant grows, we are looking for an exceptional, passionate Senior Sous Chef to join the team. As Senior Sous Chef, you will own the day-to-day running of the kitchen alongside the Head Chef, leading a talented team and protecting the standards the kitchen is known for. You will lead by example on the pass, making sure every dish leaves the kitchen exactly as John intends, and step up to run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence. You will report to the Head Chef and support the full operation of the restaurant, the kitchen and Baan. This role will suit an experienced sous chef or senior sous chef from a premium or Michelin-starred kitchen, who leads from the front, cares deeply about produce, and wants to grow a team as well as their own craft. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who lives and breathes hospitality. Key Responsibilities • Run the kitchen day to day alongside the Head Chef, upholding the standard on every dish., • Lead by example on the pass, checking every plate before it leaves the kitchen., • Step up to run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, keeping service smooth and consistent., • Support the full operation of the restaurant, the kitchen and Baan, our private dining room., • Motivate and inspire the team to give their best every shift., • Coach and develop the team, building their leadership skills and confidence., • Manage ordering, stock and supplier relationships accurately., • Uphold food safety, allergen management and health and safety standards always., • Work with fresh, top-quality, seasonal produce to the restaurant's exacting standards., • Keep the kitchen, equipment and storage in excellent order, flagging maintenance early.     £14 per hour Friday–Tuesday | 9am–4pm Wednesday & Thursday OFF 32.5 paid hours per week 30-minute unpaid break INAQ is a busy independent food business in Wembley and we’re looking for a reliable, organised and experienced Prep Chef / Kitchen Lead to join our team. This is a daytime position The role combines morning food preparation with afternoon service, so you must be confident working both independently and as part of a fast-paced kitchen team. Main responsibilities: • Preparing chicken strips, shrimp and wings, • Cooking steak, • Preparing fresh sauces, • Boiling pasta and preparing pasta sauces, • Making mac & cheese sauce, • Preparing coleslaw and other house-made items, • Portioning and organising food for service, • Maintaining correct prep and stock levels, • Following INAQ recipes and portion-control standards, • Completing HACCP, temperature and food-safety checks, • Date labelling, stock rotation and safe food storage, • Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, • Waste and rubbish management Afternoon service duties include: • Taking customer orders, • Preparing food boxes, • Frying chicken, shrimp, wings and fries, • Plating and finishing orders, • Packing takeaway and delivery orders, • Maintaining speed and accuracy during busy periods, • Keeping the service area clean and organised, • Supporting the opening shift team during service On Mondays and Tuesdays, you may be responsible for opening the kitchen and running the afternoon service independently before handing over to the evening team. On Friday–Sunday, you will work alongside the opening shift team and support them during afternoon service once the main prep is complete. We are looking for someone who is: • Fast and organised, • Reliable and punctual, • Confident working independently, • Comfortable working in a busy service environment, • Experienced in food preparation and service, • Able to multitask between prep, frying, orders and service, • Able to follow recipes and portion guides accurately, • Confident with HACCP, food safety and kitchen hygiene procedures, • Able to complete temperature and food-safety records correctly, • Capable of managing their own prep list without constant supervision We are looking for someone long-term who can take ownership of the kitchen, maintain INAQ’s standards and become an important part of the team.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining exceptional cleaning and hygiene standards. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive sales and profitability. Confidence in dealing with customer enquiries and resolving complaints professionally. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and hands-on approach.
