We are now seeking a Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry and dessert operations across our fine-dining restaurant, afternoon tea service, weddings, and private events. The Role: As Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and delivering exquisite pastries, desserts, breads, and afternoon tea selections that reflect our hotel’s reputation for excellence. You’ll manage a talented pastry team, oversee daily production, and collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to maintain the highest standards of quality, innovation, and presentation. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and inspire a dedicated pastry team., • Develop seasonal dessert menus and bespoke creations for special events., • Ensure consistency, creativity, and precision in all pastry items., • Manage ordering, stock control, and kitchen costs within budget., • Maintain rigorous hygiene and food safety standards., • Train and mentor junior pastry chefs to develop their skills. About You: • Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Sous in a 5-star hotel, Michelin-level restaurant, or luxury establishment., • Exceptional creative flair with a deep understanding of classical and contemporary pastry techniques., • Strong leadership and communication skills., • Impeccable attention to detail and a passion for excellence., • Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure.
