    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team at Care Oasis, we are a new 4 bedded therapeutic care home in the heart of Hertfordshire, Watford specialising in supporting Children with EBD AND LD. In this rewarding role, you will provide high quality, child centred care and confidently lead shifts, helping to create a safe, nurturing and trauma-informed environment where children can thrive. Working closely with the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager, you will ensure that each child's views, wishes and feelings are heard, their individual plans are delivered effectively, and their development, confidence, independence and social skills are actively supported. Skills and Experience • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is highly desirable and will be given priority during the shortlisting process. Candidates who do not yet hold the qualification but have relevant residential childcare experience and are willing to work towards the qualification may also be considered., • Experience working with children and young people in a residential care setting., • Experience leading shifts, supporting colleagues and promoting positive outcomes for children., • Strong safeguarding knowledge and the ability to manage challenging situations professionally., • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills., • Ability to remain calm, resilient and solution-focused under pressure., • Strong record keeping and IT skills., • A child centred, compassionate and proactive approach to care., • Understanding of trauma-informed practice and relationship-based care., • Full UK driving licence preferred.

Every year, CAAS supports hundreds of ADHD and autistic children, young people, adults and their families through information, advice, support services, training and community programmes. As demand for our services continues to grow, we are seeking a talented fundraiser who can help us build strong supporter relationships, develop new income streams, and ensure our vital work reaches even more people. About the Role Working closely with the Fundraising & Communications Manager and CEO, you will play a key role in developing and delivering fundraising activities that generate sustainable income and increase awareness of CAAS. This varied and rewarding role will include: • Developing and delivering community fundraising initiatives and events, • Recruiting and supporting individual and community fundraisers, • Building relationships with donors, schools, community groups and corporate partners, • Researching and developing new fundraising opportunities, • Supporting trust and grant applications, • Helping to grow digital and social media fundraising campaigns, • Maintaining fundraising records and supporter data using our CRM, • Representing CAAS at events, presentations and community engagements You will also act as an ambassador for the charity, delivering excellent supporter care and helping donors understand the impact of their contributions. About You We're looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, initiative and a proven ability to generate income through fundraising activities. You will have: Essential • Experience in a fundraising role, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector, • A successful track record in community fundraising, events, individual giving or related income generation, • Experience building relationships with donors, supporters, community groups or corporate partners, • Strong communication and presentation skills, • Excellent written skills, including experience preparing funding applications or fundraising materials, • Experience using a CRM or database to manage supporter information, • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, • A positive, professional and collaborative approach Desirable • Experience supporting fundraising volunteers or volunteer groups, • Corporate fundraising experience, • Experience contributing to larger trust and foundation applications, • Knowledge of digital fundraising and social media campaigns, • A fundraising qualification or equivalent experience, • Full UK driving licence You do not need previous experience of working with ADHD or autistic people.
