Youll be joining ourCivils projects team- We deliver specialist civil engineering for the private and public sectors across the UK, building strong relationships based on a collaborative approach. We're looking to recruitaQuantity Surveyorto work within our Civils Projects team delivering schemes in BANES (Bath & north East Somerset) and surrounding areas. As aQuantity Surveyoryou will be part of our commercial teamwho are responsibleforsupporting the project teams in all commercial matters and working with operational teams to ensure all commercial objectives are delivered. Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing? You'll provide the commercial function across projects to ensure successful project delivery. Working within a team of talented professionals ensuring co-ordination and provision across all aspects of project delivery. You'll undertake pre-contract setup, including forecasting, measurement, sub-contract tendering and procurement. Effectively managing the commercial aspects of the project (or a section of a project) including valuations, applications, budget monitoring, material & plant reconciliation and contract variations and change. We'll ask you to assist in the preparation, management and agreement of Final Accounts. Along with procurement and management of subcontract packages. You'll produce and maintain project forecasts to support the monthly commercial and financial reporting procedures and assist with control of project documentation. Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks. It's your role to maximise cashflow through the control and valuation of works, invoicing and payment process. Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements, including contractual and legislative.
