    Are you an experienced HR generalist who thrives on variety? We're seeking an all-rounder who can touch on every part of the team, from employee relations to recruitment. ​ Join us at TES as a People and Culture Advisor on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You'll be a key player in providing expert people and culture advice and support to our TES Operational teams. Based in Colchester, this is a hybrid role requiring three days in the office each week. As a People and Culture Advisor, you'll work with the team to: Employee Relations & Performance Management: Provide advice and guidance on employee relations and support management with probation reviews and performance management programs. Policy and Compliance: Assist in developing and updating company policies and procedures. You'll also maintain compliance with internal and external guidelines, including Network Rail and Sentinel database requirements. Data Management & Reporting: Ensure the accuracy of people data across all platforms, produce reports, and interpret key people information for stakeholders. Employee Engagement: Support the talent acquisition team with recruitment and retention strategies and produce formal correspondence such as offer letters and contracts. Health & Safety: Help ensure TES complies with all legal requirements and supports the implementation of our Health & Wellbeing Programmes. You'll also uphold TES policies and duty of care responsibilities toward employees and clients. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone with at least three years of relevant HR generalist experience and a strong knowledge of employment legislation. You should be commercially aware, trustworthy, and able to apply common sense and logic to often delicate situations. You will thrive in a busy environment, with the ability to support each function within HR, including recruitment. You'll need excellent attention to detail and strong systems and data analysis skills to enable you to support the business with conviction. Desirable skills: • A CIPD Level 5 qualification preferred., • Experience in the rail industry., • Strong systems and data analysis skills, including expertise in Excel functions like pivot tables and V-lookups.     Due to our company expansion, we are now seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our Service and Installations Team, working in the South East and East Anglia regions. The Role: To fulfil this role you should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail have good practical skills and able to use power tools. You will need to be personable and have good customer relation skills as you will be the face of the company to our customers. You may be required to travel and stay away as necessary within the UK (between Mondays-Fridays) to fulfil the role of Installation, Service, Maintenance and Repair Engineer. You must be efficient and organised in your work, have reasonable computer skills and be willing to learn. A friendly and flexible outlook with a willingness to go the extra mile for the team and for our customers, are key to being successful in this role. You must be a team player and be able to carry out clear instructions to continually raise the standards of processes within the Engineering Team. Responsibilities To include but not limited to: - Carry out service inspections and repairs on PE/sports equipment as instructed and as per training provided. Carry out installation of sports equipment. Work at height from mobile access platforms/aluminium scaffold towers. Ensure company van is fully stocked at all times with a selection of spare parts which may be required for repair works. Maintain company vehicles as instructed at all times. Carry out weekly van check log and forward this to Line Manager on a weekly basis. To follow correct reporting via our in-house management system. (Training will be provided). To ensure weekly briefing processes are followed correctly and job parts are checked against corresponding job sheets. Carry out any works which may be required from time to time at our Head Office in Colchester. You may, on occasion, be required to work away from home as and when the business requires. Requirements for this position: Clean Driving Licence Required. Use of hand power tools. PASMA certificate (however training will be provided).
