About the Role: As the Principal Lecturer and Head of Counselling Psychology, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of mental health professionals. This is your opportunity to provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for our growing counselling psychology programs, including doctoral, master's, and undergraduate degrees. Key Responsibilities: • Lead program development and accreditation initiatives., • Oversee high-quality education and training for undergraduate and postgraduate students., • Engage in innovative curriculum development and scholarly activities., • Mentor and inspire staff and students pursuing careers in counselling psychology., • A doctorate in counselling psychology (or related field) and HCPC registration as a counselling psychologist or clinical psychologist., • A track record of teaching experience in higher education., • Expertise in curriculum development and innovative teaching methods., • First degree and a master's degree in a relevant discipline., • Higher Education teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)., • Be part of a thriving academic community dedicated to excellence in education., • Contribute to meaningful research and community engagement initiatives.
