Reporting any deficiencies to the General Manager and following these up promptly. -To respect residents at all times, especially their individual right to privacy, dignity and choice, incorporating residents' needs and requirements into your work routine so that the care home is pleasant to both live and work. -To liaise with the General Manager ensuring the care home is maintained in good decorative order, the environment is comfortable, friendly and has a 'homely' feel for the residents. -To liaise with external contractors entering the home when carrying out authorised work to ensure that all requirements relating to Health and Safety and the Health & Social Care Act legislation are fully met. -To maintain the grounds and garden areas, keeping them in a neat and tidy condition. -To be approachable and interactive with colleagues, contributing to team meetings and helping team members as appropriate.
