Using Rainbow Restoration branded vans and equipment, duties to include: Attending damaged properties and completing works such as stripping out walls, floors, ceilings and fittings, extraction of water and uplifting saturated carpets and floorings. Cleaning and decontaminating properties which have suffered fire, flood, mould or neglect, using commercial chemicals and adhering to health and safety guidelines. Carrying out drying techniques and installing drying equipment as required. Packing and removal of furniture and contents to storage. Cleaning of contents within property or at off-site locations. Liaising with customers/loss adjusters/builders/insurance companies/policy holders where necessary, ensuring a friendly and efficient service in accordance with company values. Completing paperwork and tablet-based job reports to meet company targets. Ensuring compliance with health and safety practices including carrying out risk assessments, the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment and respiratory protection equipment, making others aware of any potential dangers. Ensuring your van is equipped as required, cleaned and serviced according to manufacturer’s guidelines. Engage in regular training courses as required.
