Maintenance and Facilities Manager – Runcorn Distribution Centre Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 39hrs Salary: Competitive Be part of something bigger at B&M! We’re looking for a passionate and driven Facilities and Maintenance Manager to join our Distribution Centre in Runcorn. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team in a key operational area, which plays a vital role in keeping over 750 stores stocked and ready to serve our 4 million customers every week. What you’ll be doing As a Facilities and Maintenance Manager you’ll be responsible for managing the sites Maintenance Team. You will support them in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment used across our Distribution Centre. You will also be supporting the wider team by carrying out more general maintenance tasks, such as painting, electrical repairs/installs and any other facilities management type jobs that come up. Your key responsibilities will include: • Set and maintain facilities standards, ensuring best practise policies are rolled out across the site., • Manage third party contractors, • Track and manage maintenance tasks effectively through our CMMS system, • Ensure compliance with National standards, • Ensure all Health and Safety Standards are met., • Produce and execute planned maintenance schedules on time, • Plan facilities requirements for any capital site spend or upgrades. What we’re looking for We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance/Facilities manager who is equally comfortable managing a team, as they are carrying out hands on tasks. You’ll need to have: • Experience of facilities management/engineering in a warehouse environment, • Practice of building a successful multi-skilled maintenance team, • Knowledge of warehouse equipment (e.g. racking, dock doors, lifting systems, sprinklers, lighting etc.), • Ability to organise and prioritise workload, • Excellent communication skills, • Confidence to challenge contractor quotes and timelines Why join B&M?
