Business Development Manager (SaaS or ERP) – Fleet/Hybrid £40,000-£45,000 (OTE up to £70k) Arden Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of an established software business looking for a Business Development Manager to grow its proprietary SaaS solution within the Sage ERP market. This is a direct sales role covering both new business and existing account growth, with a focus on increasing Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). The Role • Build and manage a pipeline of new Sage ERP customers, • Generate opportunities through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking and events, • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, • Run discovery calls and deliver tailored SaaS product demonstrations, • Prepare proposals and manage opportunities through to negotiation and close, • Manage existing customers, supporting renewals and retention, • Identify upsell opportunities across modules, licences and packages, • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts, • Work closely with Marketing on lead generation and market opportunities Essential Skills • B2B sales / Business Development experience in software, SaaS or technology, • Strong track record of generating and closing new business, • Experience managing the full sales cycle, • Confident presenting to senior decision-makers, • Strong CRM, pipeline management and forecasting experience, • Commercial, consultative approach to sales Advantageous: • Experience within ERP, SaaS or finance technology, • Knowledge of Sage X3 or the wider Sage ecosystem, • Experience selling to Finance Directors / CFOs, • Knowledge of accounts payable, purchase-to-pay or document management, • Familiarity with MEDDPICC, Challenger or similar methodologies The Person • Results-driven and motivated by new business, • Proactive, organised and commercially minded, • Confident, engaging senior stakeholders, • Strong relationship builder, • Resilient and comfortable working to revenue targets This is a great opportunity for an experienced SaaS/software salesperson to take ownership of a specialist solution, combining new customer acquisition with recurring revenue and account growth
