Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team in a busy MOT and repair garage. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and diagnosing faults on a variety of vehicles. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Mechanic will work in a fast paced environment and must be able to work independently as well as being a great team player. Duties • Diagnose faults and determine the appropriate course of action for repair., • Perform repairs on a variety of vehicles and or machinery, including oil changes, break repairs, repair of faulty components., • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve complex issues., • Conduct routine maintenance checks to prevent future malfunctions., • Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred., • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure., • Familiarity with electronic components and mechanical systems is advantageous., • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills., • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment., • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
