Key Responsibilities: • Perform repairs on various plant machines and equipment safely and professionally., • Develop and execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules., • Utilise the online Maintenance Dashboard IMO for efficient work planning., • Manufacture spare parts using lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment., • Diagnose and repair equipment faults, ensuring timely return to operational service., • Assist with the installation and repositioning of machinery., • Conduct periodic inspections and maintenance of electrical services., • Maintain detailed records and logs of maintenance activities., • Uphold high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices. Essential Skills and Experience: • Time-served engineer in machine tool fitting or equivalent qualification., • Formal IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 qualification or equivalent., • Valid UK driver’s licence., • Previous experience in a similar role within a comparable environment., • Strong understanding of installation processes and current electrical legislation., • Familiarity with planned and preventive maintenance., • Proficiency in reading engineering/electrical drawings and using testing equipment., • Methodical approach to systems and adherence to established work standards., • Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
