Food Production Operative \n Location: Hatfield Broad Oak, Essex (Own Transport Required) Pay Rate: £12.71 - £13.51 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break) Contract: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: Immediate Starts Available \n About the Role \n HRGO Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Food Production Operatives to join a well-established, family-owned food manufacturer based in Hatfield Broad Oak. Celebrating its 100th anniversary next year, the company offers a friendly working environment, full training, and genuine opportunities for career progression. \n This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for stable weekday work with the potential to secure a permanent position. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Supporting the operation of food mixing machines\n, • Adding and weighing spices and ingredients as instructed\n, • Feeding raw materials into production lines\n, • Packing and labelling finished food products\n, • Labelling boxes ready for dispatch\n, • Working efficiently on packing and production lines to meet daily targets\n, • Carrying out visual quality checks on products\n, • Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic working environment\n, • Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times\n, • Supporting colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations\n\n Working Environment \n This role is based within a chilled food production facility.
