Job Title: Residential Conveyancer / Solicitor – Remote Location: Remote Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary up to £45,000 DOE About the Team We’re working with a well-established law firm whose Residential Conveyancing team is ambitious, growing quickly, and highly regarded. The Opportunity You’ll be responsible for managing your own conveyancing caseload, with full ownership from instruction through to completion. Although based remotely, or in the Lincoln office, you’ll be fully supported by onboarding, post-completion, and admin teams. Your work will cover a wide variety of residential property matters, offering you opportunity, variety, and exposure. Key Responsibilities • Handle a variety of property transactions:, • Freehold & leasehold sales and purchases, • New build and shared ownership transactions, • Remortgages and transfers of equity, • Regular client communication (phone, email, occasionally in person), • Build and maintain relationships with external referrers (estate agents, mortgage brokers, developers etc.), • Maintain and update case management systems accurately, • Conduct title checks, raise enquiries, check mortgage offers and searches, • Perform due diligence and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with firm policy, • Exchange contracts and oversee completion of transactions, • Manage your caseload independently but with access to administrative and post-completion support Knowledge, Skills & Experience • Experience in a high-volume residential conveyancing environment, • Strong experience of title checking and raising enquiries, • Comfortable handling a full spectrum of residential transactions (sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, etc.), • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and referrers, • Good organisational skills, able to manage multiple files and meet deadlines, • Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision, using digital tools and case management systems Why This Role is Great • Remote working flexibility, • Full-time permanent role offering autonomy and variety, • Strong support structure: administrative, onboarding, and post-completion teams in place, • Opportunity to be part of a growing, high-performing department, • Competitive salary and benefits in line with experience If you’re a proactive residential conveyancer or solicitor looking for a remote role contact Millie Ebbrell @ Simpson Judge Legal today
