What You’ll Be Responsible For Growth Strategy & Direction • Lead the development of Tru’s online and go-to-market strategy across direct digital and contact centre channels., • Define priority markets, customer segments, products, and growth levers with a clear view on return, scalability, and margin impact., • Identify growth opportunities through market analysis, customer behaviour, and performance data., • Translate strategy into clear, prioritised execution plans with owners, timelines, and success metrics., • Own the commercial operating rhythm for marketing and growth – planning, prioritisation, execution tracking, and performance reviews., • Ensure activity across digital and CRM channels is aligned to customer intent, funnel stage, and commercial outcomes., • Continuously assess channel and journey performance to improve conversion efficiency and return on spend., • Partner closely with brand, creative, product, sales, and operations teams to improve execution quality and reduce wasted effort or spend., • Own a holistic view of the end-to-end customer journey, from first interaction to booking., • Diagnose funnel leakage, friction, and inefficiencies that impact conversion and ROAS., • Prioritise improvements that increase booking efficiency, yield, and cost effectiveness., • Own commercial performance tracking across digital and contact centre channels., • Build clear, trusted reporting that shows what’s driving ROAS, conversion, and revenue efficiency., • Create concise performance narratives for weekly, monthly, and quarterly leadership forums., • Clearly articulate performance drivers, trade-offs, risks, and opportunities., • Act as a thought partner to the Directors on growth, priorities, and commercial trade-offs. It is a senior commercial leadership role, responsible for designing, scaling and optimising a partner-led distribution channel that sits alongside Direct and Trade as one of Tru’s core revenue pillars. This role plays a key part in the operations of the venue. You will assist the Venue Officer during events with the delivery of customer and client focussed services within the Corn Exchange and Guild Halls. Working as part of the venues team to ensure the successful delivery of events by carrying out event tasks, including venue set-ups, stewarding, bar, cleaning and box office work, responding to and troubleshooting any issues that arise and pro-actively seeking guidance or support from a venue supervisor or venue officer as needed. About You: This job will particularly suit people looking specifically for evening and weekend work. Previous experience of working within a hospitality leadership role is desired. Whilst we’re looking for someone to work on the bar and stewarding teams predominantly, working as part of the Venues Team is a dynamic role requiring you to cover all the front of house tasks from time to time, including helping to set-up the venue, assisting the box office and post-show clearing and re-setting.
