Location: Chester Setting: Primary Schools Contract: Full-time / Part-time (flexible) About the Role We are currently seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils in primary schools across Chester. This role involves working closely with children who have Autism (ASC), ADHD, and a range of learning difficulties, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, • Support children with Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties, tailoring support to individual needs, • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management, • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation, • Support pupils with social, emotional, and communication development, • Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment, • Liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals when requiredRequirements, • Experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, and/or learning difficulties (school or care setting), • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs, • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support are desirable but not essentialWhat We Offer, • Opportunities to work in welcoming primary schools in Chester, • Ongoing support and professional development, • Flexible working options to suit your availability, • A rewarding role where you make a real difference every day
