Part-Time Finance Officer Responsibilities This position will involve, but will not be limited to: Maintaining accurate financial records across three legal entities to ensure compliance. Processing payroll efficiently for staff and contractors, ensuring payments are made accurately and on time. Managing supplier invoices, expenses, and bank reconciliations to support financial transparency. Assisting with financial reporting and preparing documentation for audits and review processes. Ensuring all financial activities follow relevant policies and legal requirements. Supporting VAT submissions and other statutory filings to ensure compliance with regulations. Organising financial documents and supporting daily operational needs effectively. Part-Time Finance Officer Rewards Competitive salary in the range of £32,080-£34,610 pro rata. Part-Time Finance Officer Experience Essentials Experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or basic financial administration. Knowledge of financial software such as Xero or Sage is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. GCSEs (A*-C/9-4), including Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications. AAT qualification or similar professional training is beneficial. Ability to work independently and within a small team environment. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality. An understanding or appreciation of the ethos of the organisation is preferred.
