HR Advisor\n\nNorwich (Hybrid working)\n\n£30,000p.a. - £35,000p.a. dependant on experience\n\nPermanent role with progression!\n\nLoom Talent are working exclusively with a UK wide professional services organisation who are looking for a HR Advisor for their East Anglia region - based out of Norwich.\n\nThis role has come about due to an internal promotion and not only offers some cracking progression but a chance to really grow in the role too.\n\nThis is a completely generalist HR Advisor role and will suit either a seasoned HR Administrator who has experience with recruitment activity (as a minimum) or a HR Officer looking for their next step!\n\nThe Business\n\nThis is working with in a professional services environment, supporting two sites, one in Cambridge and another in Norwich with a total headcount of around 200 employees.\n\nYou will support a HR Business Partner day to day and liaise with the other HR professionals throughout the group, including a HR Administrator at the site.\n\nManagement of end-to-end recruitment activity - from posting adverts to interview feedback\nManagement and planning of all new starter employee onboarding\nPayroll administration for all starters, leavers and changes\nBuild string relationship with key stake holders and upskill management on best practise when necessary\nLow level ER case management, including absence, occupational health referrals and welfare - you will also minute take during more complex cases\nGeneral HR Administration including offer letters, contracts and payroll data input\nHR Process and policy updated in line with current UK legislation \n\nAdditional HR projects - not limited to supporting their grad scheme, reviewing all recruitment processes, management coaching and talent development.\n\nThis role will suit someone looking for their first step into a HR Advisor role - you will come with a generalist HR background and have had some recruitment exposure throughout your career.\n\nThis role does have flexibility and will be based out of Norwich 3 days a week (with travel to Cambridge 1-2 times a month).\n\nPlease note - you will be the only/main point of contact onsite day to day for the employees from a HR perspective - this is going to suit someone who is confident in their abilities, who isn't afraid to get out in to the office environment to find the people and answers you need and who is comfortable reaching out for support when needed

Group Financial Controller | Preston | up to £95k Talentedge is supporting a PE backed business in the Preston area that is looking to add a Group Financial Controller to their team to help achieve their ambitious goals and year on year growth. About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Financial Controller. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will ensure robust financial control and will manage the development, implementation and documentation of internal financial control policies and procedures. The role will contribute to ensuring financial systems are effective and fit for purpose. The role will have core responsibility for management accounts, financial accounts payroll and accounts payable accounts payable. The role holder will instil core controls and ensure the delivery of insightful monthly reporting to the Board and annual financial accounts. We are looking for someone who can: • Be an effective business partner to members of the Senior Leadership Team, supporting Heads of Department and Regional Operations Teams in order to contribute to strategic alignment., • Prepare meaningful, accurate and insightful monthly finance pack and commentary to assist with decision support, delivering actionable commercial points to ensure we stay to plan., • Balance Sheet accountability, ensuring the balance sheet is accurate, understood and aligned with accounting policy and standards., • Overseeing the audit and tax process, managing the team and liaising with external personnel where required., • Seek opportunities to automate process through adoption of technology improvements and automation., • Challenge and improve existing controls and processes in the finance team and wider business, taking full ownership for finance systems and the internal control environment., • Project Management of key initiatives and system developments in the finance team (from evaluation, through to testing and implementation to live use).
