My client is looking for a Customer Services Team Leader to join their friendly, supportive team in the heart of Exeter. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll guide a team of Customer Service Advisors and Administrators, ensuring exceptional service delivery both face‑to‑face and over the phone. What You’ll Be Doing: • Leading, supporting, and developing a team of customer service and administrative staff, • Providing day‑to‑day coaching, guidance, and performance support, • Handling customer enquiries in person and over the phone, • Managing challenging or sensitive situations with patience, empathy, and professionalism, • Ensuring compliance with internal processes and administrative procedures, • Overseeing on-boarding and training for new team members, • Prioritising workload and helping the team stay organised in a fast‑moving environment, • Maintaining a calm, solutions‑focused approach even during busy periods What are the traits required in the Customer Service Team Leader role: • Proven experience leading a customer facing team, • Strong background in customer service, ideally in a fast paced environment, • Confident dealing with customers face‑to‑face and over the phone, • Ability to stay calm, patient, and professional with difficult or emotional situations, • Experience with on-boarding, training, and coaching team members, • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively, • A natural problem‑solver who can think on their feet, • Understanding of compliance and administrative processes, • Experience in the healthcare sector is an advantage, but not essential What You’ll Get: • £28,000–£32,000 DOE, • 6 weeks holiday plus bank holidays, • Monday–Friday, no weekends, • A supportive, friendly team environment, • A role with genuine career progression opportunities, • A central Exeter location with great transport links Why Apply?
