Bid Writer - Ground Engineering & Remediation Bennett & Game are proud to be partnering with a growing and highly respected ground engineering contractor, delivering specialist services across soil and groundwater remediation, decommissioning, demolition, and enabling works. With a turnover of £15m and a strong pipeline of secured work, this business is continuing to expand its footprint across the UK, supported by a close-knit team of over 50 professionals across offices in Essex and Bristol. As part of this growth, they are now seeking a talented Bid Writer to join their Pre-Construction Team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping winning tender submissions and contributing directly to the company's continued success. This is a dynamic and collaborative position where you'll work closely with Estimators, Project Managers, and senior operational staff to produce compelling, high-quality bid submissions. You'll take technical information and transform it into clear, engaging, and client-focused proposals that showcase the company's expertise and capabilities. Flexible and part-time working options are available, with the role based from Essex, Avonmouth, or Stoke. • Produce, edit, and refine high-quality written responses for tenders, proposals, and supporting documents, • Interpret technical documentation such as Phase 1 & 2 Reports, GI Logs, and Remediation Strategies, • Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical, operational, and commercial input, • Develop clear and concise method statements, scoping documents, and programme narratives, • Prepare content for PQQs, ITTs, and capability statements, • Maintain and continuously improve the bid library, including case studies and standard responses, • Ensure all submissions are accurate, compliant, and delivered to deadline, • Attend client meetings where required to better understand project requirements, • Support wider business development and marketing activities, • Experience in bid writing, proposals, or pre-construction within civil engineering, remediation, earthworks, or similar sectors, • Alternatively, a technical professional looking to transition into a writing-focused role, • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical information, • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management, • Confident working with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders, • Competitive salary and benefits package, • Annual performance bonus, • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing with service), • 5% employer pension contribution, • Healthcare scheme options, • Ongoing training and clear career progression pathways, • Support toward professional qualifications or chartership, • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements #J-18808-Ljbffr
