A superb opportunity for a junior engineer to train and develop into a highly skilled field engineer. Salary £30K - £34K Neg + OT + Vehicle + Benefits The Role: Reporting to the service manager and working closely with the service engineers you will be responsible for machine maintenance, service and repair activities on customer sites. Duties will include but is not limited to the following; Installation, maintenance, service and repair of automated machinery including conveyors, cutting machinery, pick and place robots and rotary machinery. Mechanical maintenance activities will involve the removal and replacement on broken and worn component parts such as chains, sprockets, linear bearings, etc etc Electrical fault find and repair contactors, panels, wiring, motors, sensors, etc etc Candidate: The successful candidate will have good mechanical and / or electrical engineering skills and you should as a minimum be capable of reading engineering drawings. Previous experience with basic mechanical fitting, assembly or maintenance is preferred and applicants with a recognised mechanical or electrical engineering qualification will be advantageous. Must be computer literate and have a valid UK driving licence.
